Giving Significance

If you've experienced something great, there will have been someone who had a hand in making that happen.
Send them a note.
Say "thank you!"
Phone them up. Tell them how good it was for you!
All of us live for significance.
Does my life count?
We can let people know - it does!

Quality Focus

Make your mind dwell on the beautiful, the good, the true, the pure.
Focus on low quality things and you'll develop low quality living.
Focus on high quality subjects and develop a high quality life.

CONFRONTING

Get to them before they get to you!
Leaders must learn to confront situations before they have to.
Many don't confront until it's desperate.
They wait till they have no choice.
When we're angry enough we'll confront anything.
However, anger clouds our minds and destroys relationships.
Deal with it today with a calm spirit, not tomorrow with frustration.

Learning

Having two ears and one mouth equals the communication ratio.
Leaders are learners. They listen twice as much as they talk.
The more I listen the less I talk.
The less I talk, the more I listen.

The willing heart

Energy is high when our will is engaged.
Without enthusiasm, strength for the task will flag.
When kids 'have to do' what they don't want to do, shoulders sag and knuckles drag.
When they're doing what they want to do... streaked lightning!
Creativity, positivity and fun, follow the willing heart.
Burnout follows those who live a life they don't want to live.
Getting willing is a decision I make.
I want to do this!
