CG was great. There was great expectancy for God to move this evening. I really wanted and needed a tremendous breakthru desperately! Its really these few days that i really felt i drew nearer to God again. I felt His hand touched mine, His presence melting every hardness in my heart, dissolving every hurt and pain. My heart literally cried out to God today. I am seizing every moment i have in that sh0rt time of w0rship t0day. It really was s0 perfect! I would never trade anything else f0r it!
And yeah s0 it was. another saturday gone. I nearly jumped out of bed as my mind was rehearsing my daily routine to w0rk. I thought it was a working day and i am late f0r work when i saw dawn breaking. A few seconds later, i fell back on my pillow comforting myself and breathing in heavily the air of my precious weekends! My, the air is s0 fresh! Its here finally after much anticipation!
But my plan to hug my bed longer was disturbed by other m0re impt itinerary. I sent my dad t0 work @ 8am s0 i can drive e car for our bbq session and t0 visit my grandma. The latter did not came to pass and dropped out of my agenda as my grandma was 0ut @ the salon. Well that spelt m0re sleep. When i am all ready t0 close my eyes, the phone rang! Sandy was the culprit! She needs me to pick up the ice box from her. And after those rushing, the box concluded in weiwen's hands! Well well and s0 i dr0ve at a turtle speed t0 changi beach with ah lian with me. We are abt an hour early.. that explains the record speed!
It was s0 funny.. we unloaded the bbq stuff from my cars. At that m0ment h0w i wished we could tranformed into some octopus. There are s0 many things t0 carry. N0thing is too difficult f0r the powerpuff girls. S0 we g0t our powers combined and we teleport-ed to the bbq pits! Did some quick PA and g0t the place ready. While waiting, there were s0 mani planes flying passed us. We had an awesome time guessing the airlines..
The much awaited day kicked off with 3 exciting rounds of rounders. We screamed and yelled and did some community services by feeding th0se famine m0squitoes. I think we were rather generous.. >_< *pIak*
SUnday -- *thumbs uP* had a really enjoyable day spending time with my members. Though u can count the number of ppl that came in one hand, the fellowship was equally perfect and quality! Laughed alot! Had a short dinner with lian @ LJS at hougang mall! She was sharing with me about spiritual warfare! How she encountered spirits of different kinds~ s0 cool! Bef0re u knew it, u must try casting out one and n0t just hear in awe and let e jaws droped to the ground!

A full life is not necessarily about doing and having a lot of things.
It's about fully appreciating all we have right now.
It's about doing a few things really well.
It's not about wide, it's about deep.
Our sense of dissatisfaction comes from skimming life.
Even though we may be 2 miles wide we're only 2cms deep.
We have so many options and opportunities we feel we are missing out if we don't do it all.
However, we need to rid ourselves of that notion and content ourselves with less.
The relentless pursuit of 'more', leaves us unhappy with 'now'.
Do less brilliantly!

There are always things to do before we do the thing we want to do.
Without doing the before thing, we'll be less than prepared to do whatever we are doing properly.
Before the day starts we need to pray.
Before we spend our money we need to bring the tithe to God.
Before we build a house we need to lay a foundation.
Before we give the performance we need to rehearse.
Before we see the client we need to do the research.

Cant imagine we are already in the midst of Aug!! FOP and church anniversary have already been in the books of history. Once again for FOP, it is usually the queueing up summing up more time for fellowship. Thank God for wonderful ppl in our cg that reali sacrificed and "stand in the gap" so that we can enjoy the preaching of the WOG and the whole session in comfort. The first day i reached like only 730pm due to OT. But thank God i still managed to squeeze my way in. CCC band was solid and so was Don Moen and his band. Don Moen is so charming f0r his age. He is s0 talented and he g0t such beautiful voice. Of coz n0t forgetting the little cute guy that complement Don Moen's worshipping session. I wondered if ppl were reali worshipping or were they gazing at e cute guy!! They juz cant start talking abt him. I heard thousands guessing his status, his profile, and i think some enthus ppl went as far as checking if he has ani website! Great fans har!
And nothing beats our church anniversary. It was s0 touching when we watched the video. It broadcasted abt our church's growing up path. It was so amazing and so touching. I can onli say: God is good!
And on National Day guess where i was. Neither was i at home nor at the national stadium. We were at simsville having our national day cg! One of a kind celebration. Shing and co encountered some challenging problem during the mtg. Thank God we g0t everything working in the end. We watched H0t Chick together and it was relaxing and funny. The last thing on e agenda that day was the bbq. We ate n ate. It was fun and enjoyable after all. The most memorable event of the day was, we watched fireworks on the roof top! It was so spectecular! I think we were too busy snapping those pics away than enjoying the beauty of the firew0rks. And.. it was romantic f0r some to0... haha!
Sis Jerb is finally back from her mission trip! We went to pick her up on sat! I am s0 glad to see her. E99 misses her when she is n0t ard. We just cant wait for her to come back and share with us abt preaching experience in china. Ya man we g0t a lot to hear and learn from.
Tomo its m0nday again.. G0ing back to work and its OT till late for me i guess! My work is piling up. I g0t no choice! Tues its PM, Wed its BS, thurs its K-boxing class and fri, conf @ expo! I need to clear as much work as possible b4 i g0 for my mission trip.

August has started well for me so far. Have been 2 exciting days at work! Indeed nothing to expect reali just papers. On the first day, i reached my office half an hour early coz i g0t n0 idea h0w congested the road and the buses will be so it is safer to pack and head f0r work early. Well, for the first few hours, it was reading after reading. My boss in a very short time roughly gave me an idea on what our dept is dealing with, the systems how it work and all the abbreviations that are commonly used by my colleagues for effective working. It was overwhelming for me as i t0tally have n0 banking experience at all~ S0 i managed to survive the few hours reading and at the same time fighting the zzz monster. Finally, its time to get practical. I was given my first assignment. I nearly fainted. It was like a mountain! I have never d0ne s0 much paper w0rk in my life! I'll upload the pics another time. All i knew was i did my best, trying to avoid all the careless mistakes possible and most imptly rem EXCELLENCE! And so i handed in my w0rk, happily placed it 0n my boss's table. It seemed like it was just 5 mins ago when i just started work, its already 615pm w/o realising. My team leader was very kind. She said its my first day @ work s0 i shall be spared from OT. The best part was before i left, b0ss came to me and said my first assignment was well d0ne! whoohoo~
Told myself that aug is another new beginning so i went to cut my hair. I must l00k g00d when g0ing to work. The haircut was acceptable la. At the salon, saw the very lifestyle of a tai-tai! Imagine: She walked into the salon, sat down, took the maz and started making her requests to e hairdresser. She went on sharing with everyone ( u know she was talking loudly) that she went for some slimming operation where "OIL" was withdrawn from her tummy. The whole painful experience costs her 3k!!! The way she describes the process freaks me out. I cant imagine all the pain she has to g0 thru just to l00k nice. You are right there's more! SHe went on boasting abt her new hp which cost her abt nearly 1k! show off~ Goodness! And from head to toe she is branded! cant take it anim0re and finally she is off! some big car picked her up!Guess wat, she has g0t a typical tai-tai name too : Monica! haha! Girls, d0 u still wan to tai-tai?

Hello everyone! i am glad i am back to get this blog going again. I saw the last date i blogged was in Feb. Oh my gosh, it have been 6 months le. Ok i guess so much has happened and there is so much to share right? But dun worry i will just summarise and n0t tell grandma stories!
1st of all, its wonderful to be back in e arms of E99. TO be under the leadership of sis JErb again! All i can say, E99, let us continue to gr0w and flourish in the house of G0d! and of coz to everyone in E362, i have never forgotten u all! Am glad u guys are still going strong in the Lord! LEts jia you for Jesus together!
And there is Emerge in June! I guess everyone will agree with me that its such an awesome conference. Dreams and visions impressed on our hearts, thousands of youths on fire for God, bringing the whole hall down with our usually loud praise and worship! M0st importantly, those special moments and encounters with G0d will never be erased from our mind. All of us have a great destiny in God! =)
Then its the fashion runway and the LAN games that just passed us by! Actually i am so amazed at how much we can do with all those trash bags and our old clothes. I was flooded with my group creative juices. Everyone just cant wait to see their ideas "Live" in action! The girls definitely had an awesome time flipping those magazines and colouring those faces. Whereas the guys are busy fighting wars vitrually. I have nil idea of wat is it all about. I remembered one cg outing, i sat with the brothers in my cg. Throughout the whole dinner, they were talking in CS and Dota language. Oh man, i reali felt i was from Venus.. >_<
And of coz n0t forgetting the little reunion with some of E362 members last night. It was reali crazy. It is as though we are back to those times where we will laugh hard at each other and joked about kelvin. We went shopping @ bugis after a light dinner at our cg fav hang out place.. pasta mania! ANd poor kelvin was so bored that he went to the bookstore t0 get some books. We joined him shortly after and naughty shiying was so evil, she shouted in the shop wat title did kel bought! Oh man! she is e ultimate! And then we went t0 take neoprint, It sounded like an out of fashion thing to do. Kel, shing and me were reluctant but seeing the rest so enthu abt it, we gladly surrendered our money. The best part was it t00k us like ages to get the thing printed and ppl were already closing for the day! And finally we rested our feet at MAc for a simple dessert and t0 distribute our art w0rk at the neoprint machine. So it was already half past ten when we unwillingly departed. M0st of them g0t school so we gonna watch the time. Well hopefully we catch up another time with more ppl j0ining us!
Finally its Aug the First! I will be starting my new job! I will be working in DBS bank @ chai chee as operations assistant. BAscially i will be attached to the credits dept doing all the paper work! I cant imagine i will be facing tonnes and mountains of papers each day! Its is just n9t me! Well g0nna give it a try. I pray God will increase my treashold for admin and i can conquer them! I can move the mountains! Yeah! Really thank God for this job, Its only 5 days week just that occasionally i need to do OT but of coz paid, And my remuneration is way beyond my expectations, S0 i am glad! I am starting work tomo. Dunno wat to expect except just papers. Believing for a great time!
Well thats all i guess at the m0ment! will be back soon with more exciting adventures!
