Diligence

Leadership falls to the diligent.
Those not diligent work for someone else.
Diligence assumes responsibility; meets deadlines; keeps promises; studies all the areas of your business; keeps at a thing until it is completed.
The American Heritage Dictionary defines diligence as;
1. Earnest and persistent application to an undertaking; steady effort; assiduity.
2. Attentive care; heedfullness.

Without diligence we forfeit control, influence and leadership not just in other's lives, but also in our own.

Enlarge

As we get larger, we must get larger.
It's impossible to run a large organisation like a small one.
Bigger groups attract bigger people.
We have to become bigger people to handle bigger people.
Enlargement means - I get more generous;
I widen my acceptance of others; I'm more merciful;
I plan bigger, longer, grander plans; I stretch!
I cope with more.
I have more patience, greater love, stronger joy, firmer purpose.
I enlarge!

Quote - 'Enlarge the place of your tent.' - Isaiah 54

Focus

What you focus on is what you get!
The power of focus is undervalued at the leader's own great peril.
Focus is to an achiever what oxygen is to lungs. It's essential.
Nothing else will do.
The thousand and one things stealing your focus must be tamed into second place.
Distraction is possibly the worst enemy the visionary will face.
While you're doing one thing you're not doing another.
If what you're not doing is what you should be doing then what you are doing is distracted futility!

Self-Image

Your self-image is the likeness of God.
You are not God or a god, but His image is stamped in you.
The me I see is the me I'll be.
You have the mind of Christ.
You have the nature of the Holy Spirit.
You are complete in Him.
The fullness of the Godhead is in you.
If you see yourself through the eyes of others you will generally be defeated.
God tells Gideon, 'You mighty man of valour.'Jesus tells Peter, 'Upon you I'll build my church.'
He tells you, 'Fear not for I am with you.
'You are a new species of being!
You are forgiven, righteous and holy in His sight!
You are strong, successful and prosperous!
