Its OCt already!
With much anticipation and excitement, I embraced and welcomed the long awaited weekends with a great BIG hug. It was no special weekend for me though its children's day. Anyhow, I was exceptionally stirred up for no reason. It was probably I had a long busy week.
The marvelous weekend unfolded with mooncake cg! Time really flies. I still remembered last year we had our mooncake festival celebration @ Braddell Hill where we had so much fun laughing and acting the ancient history of this meaningful event. This year, no doubt, fun covered and drowned all of us when we dis-engaged ourselves from the tiredness of the day and relaxed ourselves into the celebratory mood. Enthusiasm dotted the whole atmosphere.
Cg was pretty incredible! We had a good time listening to sis Jerb preaching. Her weekly dosage of inspirational and challenging teaching never once fails me to draw closer to God and pushing me up to another level! we were educated how people have different love languages and how crucial it is to exercise the right ones. We were presented a little quiz to find out more about ourselves. The quiz categorized my primary love language to quality time, followed by equal counts of words of affirmation and acts of service. Its quite amazing! Have you done yours already?
The night ended "early" as lian and I went for supper at 1am. With a pair of heavy, sleepy eyes and a slouchy body, i dragged myself to the car and drove myself home in my mini comfortable Getz at 3am.
Sat was just so plain and dull for me. I just stayed home and went for dinner at my uncle's place in the evening. My comfortable bed discourages me from stepping out of the house. Initially i was very reluctant to go but i think i have alot of catching up and restutions to make, it seemed like i was presented with an unwilling choice.
Finally it was sunday! I was looking forward to pastor's preaching. This is the beginning week of our building fund. This year i just cant wait to give and give! God has already prepared my heart a few weeks back during OPM. I nearly fell off my chair when i got the impression of my pledge amount. Its all about faith and sacrifice! Jesus, i wanna build YOu a great house!

After service, we went to LJS @ Tampines> we immersed ourselves into a fun time of fellowship coupled with the usual ingredients of jokes and laughters. As the fellowship came to a close, Kailin , Jean, Wendy and I made our way down to city hall. They accompanied me to Davis to get an acoustic guitar which i planned on my agenda ages ago. After more than half an hour of dilemma, seeing the bored look on wendy and JEan's face, i finally settled on the chosen one! Its all worth it! I love my new Takamine Guitar! This is the first step to my breakthru in my guitar playing! =)
The next itinerary of the day was to catch a movie. Ms horsey and i were dying to watch no matter what. But it seems like the cinema has no chance to earn our $9.50. OUr bubbles were burst when sandy and shi ying had their usual last min meetings to attend. That left us relentlessly @ New York! New York! at City Link. We let out a sign of relief as we finally get t0 rest our feet after a long few hours walk.
In the midst of savouring our expensive dinner and heart-felt sharing, i saw Kailin face changed. She looked stunned! I thought she saw PT! Then she chanted: "Hey! It's sis Bel!" I turned my head so quickly that i think i nearly twisted my neck! haha! In the end, I only managed to catch a glimsp of her glory.. so sad! She was with her team of choir leaders, Man, for the next few minutes i think i got indigestion coz my focus was not on the cuisine on my table anymore but a few tables away. It just so happened that i know one of the choir members. She told me they were going to celebrate sis Bel's belated bday.. In a hit of moment, i felt like running to her and sing her a bday song! ahaha~ But i din. I guess i can only do that in my dream.
And so it was time to pack up and go home. Our first stop was to the toilet first. While waiting for an available cubicle, sis Bel walked passed me. I nearly fainted. I froze. Breathless, i was cemented to the ground. Then from all that was within me, i let out a faint : "helllloooo sis bel!!" With an angelic voice, she turned her head and smiled at me and started talking to me. My heart was racing! I was tongue tied.. In that very short few seconds, we had a fair exchange of conversation. Goodness! From her expressions, they told me that she remembered me! Before she went off, she smiled again and said : "See you ard!"I experienced heaven descend on earth that moment! ha~ Its better than getting my new guitar!
The trip home was a smiley one! =)
We saw this at Davis.. so cool right!
