Brainpower
Your brain is a computer.
Your tongue is the keyboard.
Most of your life is lived on autopilot.
You program your brain with your tongue.
Your brain (computer) then lives out what it has been told.
If the keyboard programs in that you're strong, you will be.
If you say you're sick, you will be.
Your brain simply accepts what it is told.
What are you telling your brain?
What programs are you installing?
What information are you punching into your Rolls Royce computer?
Say, 'I'm blessed!'

November the 29th and 30th were days i marked down a star on my calender. They were days i am counting down to. These 2 days were really days we all looked forward to. Its one of the mega event of the zone.
On wed morning, i work up earlier than usual to get myself pumped up for this event. I want to make sure i am not late. Shing and i at were allocated to do Chorus Board for all sessions. When sis Jerb informed me, you bet i was over the moon! I was really expecting to really learn alot of things this time round. Met up with shing, lian and Joanne and boon lay and we made our way to church. The waiting time for the bus and the queue just reminded me of bible school days, how i missed them!
Once we reached, there were no time to lose, we immediately got down to work. There was alot of touching up to do. Thanks to alex, we managed to get all the whole system going la. Throughout teh whole camp, i realised there were so much to understand, learn and grasp for CB. It was really a good experience after all!
Session1: Bro Edmund talked abt us being relevant, about Kristos Kai Cosmos. The whole afternoon was taken up by sports events which all the youths engaged themselves in a time of great workout. I heard many played with enthusiasm and all their might! I guess theya really had a great time sweating out in spite of the unexpected rain!
Session 2: The highlight were the dance and the drama. Can i say their late night pratices and effort did not g0 to waste. It was really enjoyable the whole performance. I was really lookng forward to the preaching of e word that night. I know Bro Ed was going to lay hands. My heart was open and ready for G0d to move! God came and it was an awesome night!
Session 3 : Sis Jerb preached about encounters with G0d! It was real solid preaching and sharing! SHe shared how acceptance and relationships were important to her but becausw she made an decision to love G0d more, she let go and let God. Smtg happened and her life changed! Terrific testimony! I needed a touch badly from God that morning! God is always the faithful one that nevers fails to turn up when we need Him the most! I need to make a decision! The amazing race in the afternoon was what everyone was looking forward to! The bunch of excited youths got into sporty attires and were ready to conquer what was in their way to come. Before we could start anything, e rain came down on us.. The youths then just spend the afternoon improving on the drama. But still, the finale could not be missed! Since the water bombs were all ready in position, we all decide : "Its war time!" What happened next i guessed its very obvious.. Everyone soaked to the skin! =)
Session 4: The finale! The youths exhibited their creativity and talents in the T-shirt, shoe n cap design! The highlight of the night was of course the dramas from the different groups! I was really amused and amazed at their acting! LAughters just filled up the room when some of them did some of this world stunts! The word at night was about having CHARISMA. That night just drew me closer to God when all of us just kneel down at our feet and worship our King! When we drew closer, JEsus drew even closer..
The camp ended on a high note with all of us singing the all time fav fellowship song! "... Keep smiling, keep shining..." On one hand Shing and I heaved a sign of relieve but on the other hand, it was really fast these 2 days.. i have not had enough fun yet!
On the overall, it was really good to see everone more in love with Jesus! Decisions made, life transformed and definitely more on fire for Jesus!
Encounters = More of Christ in Culture!
