KL Emerge!

I am back from the mission field! It was such a fruitful time in KL! Woke up early mon morning at 6am. I was super tired, i wanted to sleep s0me more but the thought of going mission just recharged me and g0t me running t0 the bathroom to wash up! Left the house at 7am. I was desperately late coz i am mtg sandy at Newton mrt at 730am to catch the coach! I got to squeeze my way to the train station with e working crowd, burdened by my enormous luggage! It was just so slow! In the bus i realised i left my guitar back at home.. so i only got e chords w/o the guitar.. how silly is that?

Well, we boarded the bus at Hotel Asia. It was an airbus.. super comfortable chairs with pillow and leg rest. U were right! M0st of us were in dreamland when the bus cruised all the way to KL. After a long 4.5 hours trip, we reached our destination! We hopped d0wn the bus, redeemed our luggage, dashed into the hotel rooms, combed the place, in seconds we settled d0wn and off t0 the shopping mall we went! We received news that the last bus coming broke down and will only reached in the late evening, s0 we got ourselves equipped with some groceries for the next few days from giant. It goes without saying, the shops there were just s0 tempting, we were all drooling, super tempted to buy every single items we set eyes upon. Thank God for self-control, we were spared the impulse buying. Coz we g0t an important agenda for our RM, that is to pay off the "deluxe suite" which housed us for 4 days! It costs us a burning h0t RM 233 per night which burnt a hole in our pockets.. >_<

As evening drew, all of us gathered.. we met up and started the whole mission by commiting it to the Lord. We prayed and worshipped God in the convention hall. The absence of a guitarist and confined in a stuffy room did not stop us in crying out to God for a mighty revival in KL! It was a free sauna session for all as we left eagerly and headed f0r the first assignment of the day. We prepared and stapled 1000 inserts together for the conf in n0 time. Thats e power of team effort!

That aside.. Breakfast was sumptuous every morning. But we dun have the luxury of enjoying it as m0st of the days we were just drowned in our tiredness and just slept in. Tuesday was a whole day fo preparation for the first night of emerge at the convention hall. It started at 730pm. Ppl started streamin in only about 730pm omwards as its a working day and also a rainy day. It seems like queueing up its not their practice. Everyone was quite disciplined in entering the hall. I guess that make the ushers job much easier.. hee!

Wed and thurs morn, we had our session in KL CHC building itself. We really felt at home with their hospitality. One of the usher, also a CGL, also a team IC, she went all the way out just to get coffee for sandy and me. You thought its nothing.. but coz the church is situated in some industrial area so its actuali miles out to the nearest convenient stall.. so touching right! The morning session was just s0 awesome.. most attendees are adults and some greyed hair citizens and they are much more excitied than our youths back in S'pore.. i cant help but think ... who loves God more? The morning sessions were abit struggle.. The Zzz monster jabbed most of us with some drowsy injection, for a few minutes i couldnt resist but closed my eyes. Eh u know the hall is small, we dun want Pst Kong to catch us dozing off.. But i promised i didnt missed out much. The preaching by Pst Kong was life changing, the P&W was so ministering, the presence of God just saturated our hearts and melted everyone in the room as we cried "Abba Father!" How i wished Jesus would bring me up to heaven that moment! =)

The finale lasted for 5 hours or so. The overflowing crowd was unexpected. We had a 2000 over ppl coming to join us. I heard the ushers said.. we dun have enough chairs! All i can say .. the mission trip was fruitful... I was in the BKL (bao ka liao) team. A total of 9 of us! So we did everything from ushering, bookstore to children's church and even security.. cool right! Really felt God moved so much in KL and in our own lives. Although we din reali do alot, i felt we all moved on to a new level with Jesus, the love deepens, the tents expanded! It was just great!

KL has emerged! I have emerged!

Sis Bel!!!

She is my inspiration!

Our breakfast every morning!
Looks yummy right! *sLurp*
